What is TAB APPRENTICE?
TAB APPRENTICE gives you the chance to win every day that you place a Racing bet from Monday 2 October 2017 until Wednesday 1 November 2017. There's a big prize pool, with $80,000 given out across 32 daily prize draws (500 x $5 prizes per day), plus a grand prize pool draw of $20,000 worth of TAB account credit.
For each day that you place a Racing bet, we'll email you a TAB Apprentice game link the following morning. This will include an entry in the daily prize draw, and the opportunity to complete another race on your racing calendar. There are 24 races to complete. You get a Grand Prize entry for every stage trophy you acquire (4 races per stage, 6 total stages).
The promotion will run from Monday 2 October 2017 until Wednesday 1 November 2017.
You can only play TAB Apprentice using bets placed through your TAB account. Bets placed in a TAB Store are not eligible.
How do I play TAB Apprentice using bets placed on my TAB account?
- Check that you have a valid email address saved against your TAB account, and that you're opted in to receive TAB promotions.
- Then simply have a Racing Bet through your TAB account on any day within the promotion period (2/10/17 to 1/11/17)
- We'll automatically email you your TAB Apprentice game invite by 11am on the day after your bet was placed.
- Keep going – the more days that you have a Racing bet, the more chances you'll have to win in the daily prize draw, and the more Races you'll tick off your Racing Calendar giving you more entries into the Grand Prize Draw.
Can I play TAB Apprentice using bets placed in a TAB store?
No, this promotion is only available for bets placed through TAB Account.

How do I get an entry in the Grand Prize Draw?
You'll get a Grand Prize Entry for every trophy (4 races) that you collect on the TAB Apprentice calendar. Completing all 24 races will give you the maximum 6 entries into the Grand Prize Draw.
What is the Grand Prize?
The Grand Prize pool is $20,000. The Grand Prize Draw will be conducted after the promotion has concluded when players have accumulated their Grand Prize entries by collecting trophies for every stage completed. The split of the $20,000 winnings will be as follows:
- 100 x $100 TAB Account top-ups
- 100 x $50 TAB Account top-ups
- 250 x $20 TAB Account top-ups
What are the daily prizes?
There is a $80,000 prize pool for our daily prize draws, spread out across 32 daily draws. There are over 500 x $5 prizes to be won every day. Unclaimed prizes will jackpot forwards into the following day's draw.
Entrants that have completed all 24 races before the end of promotion period can still continue playing TAB Apprentice each day they have a qualifying bet, to see if they are a winner in the $5 daily draw.
When will I receive my TAB $5 daily prize draw account credit winnings?
TAB account credit prizes will be deposited into the customer's winning account the following business day (Monday-Friday). If you win on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you will receive your winnings on Monday morning.
Steps
STEP 1:
Place a bet on Racing using your TAB account. The next day we will send you an email with your invite to play TAB Apprentice.
STEP 2:
On the day your email is received, click the link in your email to be taken to the TAB Apprentice website. Click 'RACE NOW' to reveal which horse you've drawn, and then watch a video of the race. If you don't want to watch the race video, you can click 'SKIP RACE’.
STEP 3:
If you've drawn the winning horse, that means you're a $5 daily prize draw winner. This will be confirmed after the race finishes. We'll deposit the $5 into your TAB account on the next business day (Monday-Friday).
STEP 4:
You can check your TAB Apprentice progress and stats by clicking the pop-out menu tab on the top/left side of the screen/page. This will detail the races you have completed and the stage trophies you have earned. There are 24 TAB Apprentices to complete, the more you finish, the more entries you'll gain into the Grand Prize Draw.
